Backstory

(Older Student) Sixth year, Slytherin... and proud. Unlike most Slytherins, I am a Half-blood and my parents weren't Slytherins; they were both Ravenclaws. It was a shock to everyone when I was sorted into Slytherin; I'm a very quiet girl - mysterious you could say - but that doesn't mean I have nothing to say. It became obvious why I was sorted into Slytherin once I adjusted to Hogwarts, and I'm very proud of my house (despite the continuous comments from the rest of the wizarding world). Once you get to know me you will find that I am very organised, witty and sly. Although I was expecting Ravenclaw (not to boast, but I am quite smart), I'm not disappointed in the slightest. Slytherin's brought me closer to people like me and has become my family.

I suppose I enjoy school - it's as good as it gets. And besides, you can't beat Hogwarts. My favourite classes are probably Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts and Divination (yes, divination). I find them very fascinating and enjoyable. I have friends in every house, although the majority of my closest friends are in Slytherin with me; I've learnt throughout my time at Hogwarts who I can trust and who I can't. And the one thing I can't stand is liars and cowards.

I spend the majority of my time exploring the grounds or watching Quidditch. I was infuriated when I didn't make the Slytherin team so I make sure to attend every game whether Slytherin are playing or not. And if they're not, don't count on me to be supporting the other teams. I guess you could say I'm extremely competitive.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm a Half-blood; it seems that every other Slytherin in my year is a strict Pureblood. But I'm even more embarrassed to admit that one of my favourite pastimes is listening to muggle music. I would never tell another Slytherin about this but I did admit it to a Hufflepuff girl in my third year, who I forced to keep it a secret. I'm counting on her to stick to that promise forever...
