Backstory

House: Hufflepuff

Aspiration: To study the magical beasts of the world. In particular: Dragons.

I didn't know what to make of my Hogwarts letter. I am a Witch born into a Muggle family, and I have always been able to do strange things. Something would blow up when I'm angry, or I would completely disappear when embarrassed. My older brother is my only sibling, and he was so ready to beat someone to a pulp for playing a prank on me when my letter came. He likes my gifts and always tries to protect me. My parents took me out to make me feel better about the 'prank', when a beautiful European Eagle Owl flew onto our table and held out another letter to me! We decided to go to London the next day, and The Leaky Cauldron was right where the letter said! I don't know what was supposed to be there, but my parents were surprised.

When we went inside there was a kind of creepy guy leaning against a wall, and he called us over. He tapped on some bricks, and the wall opened right in front of us! An older witch then came up to us and walked us around, showing my family some strange coins called bronze knuts, silver sickles and gold galleons. Then we walked around and saw all the wonderful shops. There were books on things I had never heard of. Transfigurations, Herbology, Potions... The most fascinating book in the entire shop, however, was something called "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." It wasn't on my list, but I begged my parents for it anyways and got it. I look forward to seeing what I learn at Hogwarts! I wonder when I can start learning about the beasts in my book...
