Backstory

My parents are both wizards though my brother is a squib. I grew up not practicing much magic so my brother didn't feel left out (my choice, not forced upon me by my parents.) I had a hard time deciding whether or not to actually attend Hogwarts because it meant living away from my family and brother, but ultimately decided to go after realizing that I can't keep my own life from moving forward based on my brother's abilities. I was sorted into Ravenclaw very quickly and spend most of my time practicing my spells, potions, and whatever else I can do. I enjoy the hands-on and practical aspects of learning much more than writing essays and such, but I am an extremely fast learner and am always on the lookout for new things to learn about. I spend most of my time in the Ravenclaw common room or on my bed reading, writing, and doing other work. I particularly like the arts and often find ways to combine things we've learned with forms of expression. I don't have a career path as of this moment, but I hope to eventually find a way to help people of all kinds learn to be more accepting and kind to each other, especially with squibs.
