Small Backstory:
First year student at Hogwarts with a passionate interest in magical and non-magical beasts. Valentine grew up in a wealthy pureblood family with roots rich in German history. Though he was born in the Americas, his single Mother, and four older brothers hold their position in magical society highly. Being the youngest in a family for other might be full of hand-me-downs, however the wealth and stature of the Blautlunes affords him rather abundant luxuries and new things. Being that all of his older brothers were placed in Slytherin house, it wasn't a surprise when he, himself, became a Slytherin. He does however remember his Mother commenting how she thought he should have ended up in Ravenclaw because he is, "too much like his Father." Valentine can come off as rude or apathetic most times, but truly he is very thoughtful and decisive with a urge to observe and experience. While he can disconnect from humans, he seems to have a great bond with creatures and will often go out of his way to assist ones in need. With that in mind, he hopes to go into a field that involves creatures of every shape and part of the world. Valentine's familiar is a male long-haired black cat named Killian who he's know since he was young and the two are a mirror of eachother's personality. He spent his first year and a half being home schooled before coming to Hogwarts and because of that he was allowed to take on both 1st and 2nd year classes.. even if he only counts as a 1st year student.
