Backstory

My father is a No-Maj, my mother a witch. Already you can see that this relationship created a pretty interesting childhood for myself. My parents had to stay pretty well hidden from the watchful eyes of MACUSA. We moved around quite a bit in my younger years and I met a lot of interesting people. One time while I was visiting New York, I met this old wizard with the cutest little bowtruckle. Oh I don't remember his name. He wrote one of our textbooks though. Anyway, I started my schooling at Ilvermorny, a marvelous school by the way, where I was sorted into Thunderbird. I was actually able to keep up the act pretty well for my first year that both of my parents were magical but the school and MACUSA eventually found out the truth. Being an underage witch, I was not penalized for this offence against Rappaport's Law but my parents fled into hiding once again. I was sent off to the UK to live with my magical grandparents. I receive owls every now and again from my parents. I still don't know where they are. I had only completed one year of schooling when I came to the UK so about two weeks before what would be the start of the second year, I received a Hogwarts letter! I'm not sure if my grandparents pulled a few strings or if it is just the fact that Hogwarts is a true home for any witch or wizard.
