Backstory

Receiving my letter from Hogwarts was a wake-up call for me; my gift for magic was just that - a gift - and was not to be wasted. I am a Witch from a tiny town that is practically unheard of; my parents, my father being a Muggle and my mother being a Witch, had yet to tell me that I had inherited powers of my own as a child. But, from that young age, I had always had the feeling that when others coined me 'unique' or 'different,' it was because they had blatant reason to. My mother finally told me of my magical abilities one year before I would receive my letter, and it has changed my life ever since!

I'm not your stereotypical Gryffindor. I'm not much for athletics or competitiveness, but I'm actually more keen on literature, art, music, and learning all that I can about magic in the Wizarding world. I'm still unsure of who I want to be in the Wizarding world, but I do hope that my studies at Hogwarts will benefit me in whatever path I choose to take.
