As seasons change and we greet these castle halls with new excitement this September, nothing lasts forever. Mythology will be shuttering its doors December 31st, 2024.

For those of you who want to take a deep dive into learning the myths and legends across the world, you have until then to take the course. Any questions regarding the course as you are working through it can be directed to Professor Salvatrix. On a similar note, we will no longer be hiring a professor for the course.

Will this course ever resurface in the future? Well, the future is never certain. Don’t think of it as a goodbye, but more as a “see you later.”

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Why is Mythology being closed?

There are a number of different reasons we no longer wish to offer this course on this website. A few include the fact the course was not canon, the difficulty in hiring a professor for the position, and the fact that there was significant overlap between Mythology and Ancient Studies.

Q: Will Mythology come back in the future?

We are considering reevaluating the course due to the aforementioned overlap with Ancient Studies, and it may come back in another form such as a theme week or post-graduate content.

Q: When do I have to turn all my assignments in by?

The deadline to turn in all assignments is December 31st, 2024. The course will be taken down after that date.

Q: What will happen to all my house points I earned for Mythology?

You will retain all points awarded from Mythology. If you turn in your assignments by the deadline and they haven’t been graded yet, you will get your grades back still after the deadline and earn those points as normal.
