Our Groundskeeper on Hogwarts is Here has made some improvements recently! Read below to find out the new features and/or bugs that have been fixed. This article will serve as a live tracker of all previous patches and updates, separated by date, with the most recent at the top. We appreciate your patience as we renovate Hogwarts further and patch up the areas that need repair!

Bug Fixes

Assignments
- Removed a nargle infestation that prevented students from submitting assignments, viewing quizzes and viewing their transcripts.

Miscellaneous

Site (500) Error Page
- The Site (500) Error page should no longer suggest there's an "Update in Progress." Thanks, Peeves. It should now say "Nargles in the System."

Dorms
- Fixed an issue that locked students out of their dorms. Students will not have to sleep in the common room any longer!

What’s New

Newsroom

- Refurbished the Newsroom to showcase more articles than ever before! Now you can access any published articles dating back to the site’s creation!

- Search for articles by categories via the ‘News Categories’ button. Here’s a summary of each category:

• All articles: exactly that
• Groundskeeping: News regarding HiH updates (our Patch notes live here!)
• Site Events: Announcements for site-wide or Discord activities you can participate in
• Volunteer: PA, Staff, and miscellaneous applications 
• Castle Corridors: Creative staff articles
• Wizarding World: Harry Potter fandom news

- The search bar will let you search for specific articles (or even a grouping of articles) by keyword or by author

- Click ‘the Newsroom’ to return to the main/default view of all articles

- Each page contains six (6) articles at a time. At the bottom of the page, you can click ‘Next’ or ‘Previous’ to view each page of articles.

Staff Feeds

- We are allowing staff to shout through the hallways. Staff, please remember to use the Amplifying Charm so students can hear you!

Library

- Fixed a bug that prevented users from creating and editing chapters

What’s New

Library

- Overhauled the Library completely for both readers, writers, and now Librarians!

- Students can now browse through all books accepted into the library via the ‘Categories’ button or the search bar.

- A ‘Library Policies’ sub-tab has been added to the main ‘Hogwarts Library’ tab that will define the categories as well as rules for creating chapters.

- Once a chapter has been submitted, it will go to the Library queue, which acts similar to the grading queue – you’ll need to wait for a Librarian or Librarian assistant to review it.
