Backstory

I was born to a pure blooded mother and farther and have lived most of my childhood in poverty. My fondest memory (besides getting my Hogwarts letter) is digging in the furniture for enough money to buy canned peas for supper. Loss has played a big role in making me who I am.
I never quite fit in with the predominantly muggle children in my neighbourhood and as such learned to enjoy my own company. I took up solitary hobbies such as painting and reading. For the longest time my library card was my best friend.
I would often spend my days thinking of all the elaborate ways I could do harm to those who bullied me.

Sometime when I was quite young I discovered a love for animals of all kinds. When humans were unkind, animals provided a source of comfort and happiness. When my parents would visit family friends I would spend all my time playing with their pets. Then my mother got me a rather well worn second hand copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and I decided to learn all I could about the fascinating world of magical creatures. I look forward to Care of Magical Creatures as it is my favorite class and hope to one day meet Newt Scamander.
