Getting to know Mario Soriano
Chapter 2
It was a nice late August evening, and Mario and I were sitting around a fire. He had kindly volunteered for my first interview, and I was excited to learn more about his interests outside of the classroom. If you know what I mean, ;)
Anyway, we started off simple. I asked him what he wanted to say to my blog readers, and he offered some advice, like a good prefect:
"1) Enjoy your courses at your own pace! You can test out subjects from higher years, or you can do two courses at once, or all of them, or none. The fun of it is figuring out which are your strong suit and which aren’t. For example, Astronomy was hard for me (and was for many people), so I’d pair it with an easier course. I’d pair Transfiguration with Charms, since they have a similar style
2) Use the Discordian server! If you haven’t entered already, you can ask a professor or a PA (or myself, hehe) if you want to find it. Answers come faster, and you can compare your progress to others. Discord gives us the social aspect that HiH is still working on improving"
After that I was curious to know more about himself so I asked:"okok but I meant on a more personal way like...do you have any juicy stuff for us?"
He was adamant that he couldn't divulge any top secret information of any kind... I hope it doesn't involve any surprise mandatory exams this year haha (Mario if you're reading this keep in mind that I was nice to you and didn't push your boundaries lmao)
Anyways we kept chatting about this and that and then he finally revealed some juicy news: It happens that the coolest Cassandra Graves has a huge crush on non other than Tom Marvolo Riddle, they are said to have been close study mates during his years at Hogwarts ;) (someone didn't overcome the grieving phase I fear... again Cass if you're reading this just laugh and turn the page!)
Shifting the attention back to Mario he revealed also that his biggest '90s crush is Cormac Mc Laggen, good taste... even better because he's kinda rich am I right?
Mario's actually into women so ladies if you want to make a move feel free to owl him attaching some chocolate (he'll be impressed or curse me we'll never know XD)
He added that in his opinion the famous muggle single Taylor Swift must be a witch because of her great success reached in less than a few years. (In my opinion she's too predictable to be a witch)
