My first classes!

Chapter 2

Diary, 

It's the first day of classes! Yesterday was just the sorting and feast, as well as getting settled into our dormitories and common room. But now this is what I have been waiting for - the hours of studying and sitting in the classroom. I think I'm most excited for Potions. . . even though I'm a Ravenclaw. Everybody is saying only Slytherins do well in potions but I don't think that's true. I've always loved putting the parchment labels on the vials! I used to play around with it all the time with Mum back at home - even though it obviously wasn't magical. Anyways, another I'm really excited for is History of Magic. I'm curious to see what it's going to be like with the teacher being a ghost, but honestly that's so cool. I've always loved history! And I'll brink my navy polkadot bookbag. 

I have to be on my way to the great hall soon to grab breakfast, but I wanted to write a little again before it all really begins. It's still so surreal - I'm at Hogwarts. Okay, got to go! I'll fill you in later in the common room.
