Welcome back to another edition of the Quotes Page, everybody! Today, I will be sharing 5 of my favourite and inspirational quotes from Harry Potter!
“You’re a little scary sometimes, you know that? Brilliant, but scary." - Ronald Weasley
Ron says this to Hermione after she uses her clever thinking skills. This quote shows how intelligence and bravery can sometimes be intimidating, especially when someone seems so capable in tough situations. Ron admires Hermione’s wits, but it also reminds him how powerful and determined she can be, even scarier than the danger they face.
"It is the quality of one’s convictions that determines success, not the number of followers." - Remus Lupin
Lupin reminds us here that it’s not about how many people agree with you or follow your lead—what really matters is how strong and true your beliefs are. Even if you stand alone, if your cause is just, you can still succeed.
"We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are." - Sirius Black
Sirius is talking about the idea that everyone is both good and evil, but what defines a person is the choices they make, whether they act with kindness or cruelty. This is an important message in life in general.
“We're all human, aren't we? Every human life is worth the same, and worth saving." - Kingsley Shacklebolt
Kingsley’s words bring up the topic of equality and the importance of valuing every life, no matter one's identity. In a world divided by lots of unreasonable things such as race, gender, sexuality, and more, his words stand out as a reminder that everyone deserves to be treated with fairness and dignity.
"It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends."- Albus Dumbledore
And of course, what type of Quotes Page would this be without a quote from Albus Dumbledore? Dumbledore’s quote teaches us that true courage isn’t only about fighting obvious threats—it’s also about having the strength to confront people we care about when they’re wrong. Standing up to friends is often harder because it risks hurting relationships, but it’s necessary for what’s right.
Well, that's it for today. I hope you enjoyed these quotes, and make sure to return next month for more!
