Evening Sky

Chapter 5

I never really thought about the evening sky,

Never really looked up at the place where bluebirds fly.

At dusk one day, when I lifted up my head,

The sky was filled with hues of pink, purple and red.

The beauty of it made me stop and stare,

Sights like these, I thought, were pretty and were rare.

The day was perfect, so warm and relaxing,

Flowers blooming, on such a perfect day of spring.

Now, all the time, I think about the evening sky,

I always look up at the place where bluebirds fly.

If you asked me what part of the day is the best,

I'd say the part of the day when the sun sets.
