Chapter 2

The morning sky, so soft, so light,

Blushes pink with fading night.

Golden fingers stretch and rise,

Brushing dreams from sleepy eyes.

The bold sky, royal blue,

Here it stands, can’t be more true,

The peak of day, a busy time,

Won’t throw it away, not for a dime.

An evening sky, a navy hue,

A joyful, bright blue, getting duller,

Everyone’s curled up on the couch,

No room to be a grouch.

The rich night sky, a velvet blue,

All are asleep, without a clue,

A silver moon in wistful gleam,

And for once everything’s as it seems.

Through every hue, through every light,

The skies embrace both day and night.

A shifting tale, a world so wide,

A dance of time, a dreamer’s guide.
