Chapter 1
‘Ello, ello, ello! Thank you for stopping by and welcome to the first issue of: The Dreamweavers. For those of you who haven’t heard much about us, we are a team of talented writers, proofreaders, editors and artists. Every month, we share short stories and poems to then publish in the famous HiH library. We welcome anyone from the most talented to people who have only just realised that writing is their life.
This March spring has slowly started to arrive, as we see the blossoms on our cherry tree turn white as snow. The weather is glitching a little, with some rain one day and the sun blinding our eyes another, but overall we get to enjoy the tenderness of the grass as we lay down with our friends, gossiping about who knows what? To add to the dazzle in the air, the authors come along!
This group was created by Kyra Shirley -a 1st Year Gryffindor- in order to bring even more magic and creativity to our humble school, HOGWARTS!
You want to know how, “The Dreamweavers,” actually works? Well, do not panic because Kyra Shirley is coming to rescue you!
Every month we plan on having new themes to keep you entertained, as different stories and poems pour your way like an exquisite, chocolate fountain. However, since the egg has only just hatched, there is no theme for this issue. That won’t be a problem though! Because with a theme or no theme, excitement will come!
Remember, it ain’t just me writing all these mind-blowing stories. I work alongside some wonderful, skilled witches and wizards. The students that have participated this month are called:
Jean W.P. Granger (as author)
Alannah Vartulie (as author)
Lani Haluki (as author and artist)
Mariano B Sarino (as author)
Constance Oakly (as proofreader)
And me!! (as author, editor and cover designer -just for this month-)
As you can see, the team is not its biggest yet, so we’re always prepared to welcome any new members. You don’t have to be good at writing, since you can always create beautiful covers for each story! Just owl me for more information, and I’ll make sure you enjoy every second with us. They always say, “The more the merrier!”
This issue won’t be the largest, but it sure will be a bumpy ride. SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? The journey awaits!
