What is the House Points Competition?

NOTE: this is not an advert. It's an official group organized by a professor. I just happen to like it when HiH is active, so I'm providing information about it.

The House Points Competition is organized in the "Groups & Roleplays" tab, and is hosted by Professor Robert Plumb, our Ravenclaw Head of House and Astronomy professor. To enter, take a screenshot of your house, name, date and current house points, upload it to Imgur (or similar sites) and post the link under the most recent collection post.

At the end of the month, Professor Plumb will count the house points you've obtained since then, and the three highest-charting will get a stock medal in their wall. Even though this isn't an actual prize, the objective is to challenge each other to make progress in our studies.

This is a way to keep the site active because, apart from the HiH Discord server, we don't interact much between each other aside from our walls. Only PAs do, which make sense, because they make up the majority of these competition's contestants.

The students have achieved some incredible feats.

The five students who have achieved the most points while competing overall are:

The five competitions with the highest amount of points per student on average are:

• June/July 2024. 492 points in average, with 3 competitors. Please note that this competition was bimonthly and the HiH queues were acting weird, so it makes sense that participation wasn't high
• January 2025. 410 points in average, with 6 competitors
• August 2023. 293 points in average, with 11 contestants.
• March 2025. 245 points in average, with 12 contestants.
• February 2025. 214 points in average, with 9 contestants

The five competitions with the highest points achieved overall are:

• August 2023. 3223 points in total
• March 2025. 2945 points in total
• January 2025. 2460 points in total
• February 2025. 1925 points in total
• July 2023. 1817 points in total

And finally, the five students with the greatest achievements (prioritizing medals with greater value over number of medals and points), are:
