Rewards Of The Month
Chapter 25
Hello and welcome to the penultimate chapter of the February issue. Oh, I know, it’s terribly awful having it end so quickly—it really does fly by, doesn’t it? But never fear, you can always go back and reread your favourite chapters. Take inspiration from the Recipe of the Month, read the iconic Department of Mysteries, and celebrate Pink Shirt Day.
Well, you see, all of your favourite chapters were written, edited, proofread, and some of them were marketed, by our absolutely fantastic staff here at Hogwarts Monthly News. Now, I know we’ve already thanked them profoundly, but we all know that they’re so spectacular, they simply must have some awards!
So come one, come all, as we reveal them…
For the best journalist of the month, here’s a clue: she’s named after a Greek nymph, always comes up with new and innovative ideas, and is someone I deeply admire for her commitment. It’s Daphne Clarke!
For the best editor of the month, she’s a hopeless romantic, a longtime member of the magazine, and seems to always be sporadically active. In fact, it’s the person writing this right now – I, Sara Rowan!
For the best proofreader of the month, she’s the biggest lifesaver of this entire magazine, a fantastic writer, and she’s already won an award. Yup, it’s Daphne Clarke once more!
The marketer of the month is sweet, a Hufflepuff, and is always perfectly on top of her marketing. Got her in your head? Yes, this award goes to Marietta Oizys!
For the most efficient staff member of the month, hmmm, let’s up the game. She’s a storyteller at heart, a high-school warrior, and the publishing secretary. Sara Rowan!
For the most motivational member of the month…she loves momos, KOTLC (because of me!) and is my very lovable HiH sister. Can you guess? It’s Hazel Emory Antler!
And lastly, for the most interesting article of the month, the journalist is someone who clearly has the most limitless imagination and never-exhaustive research skills, for they are truly one of the best journalists I’ve ever seen. Daphne Clarke, honey, this goes to you.
Please go congratulate everyone on their walls for their awards, which will be posted soon. Everyone in HMN, award or not, has been absolutely FABULOUS and the executive team really couldn’t possibly be any luckier.
Written by Sara Rowan.
