Starting at Hogwarts + Class one , week one - Charms.

Chapter 1

To set up my profile at Hogwarts I firstly wrote down my backstory and added a profile picture as well as a Backround picture, making my profile inviting and friendly. I attended the sorting ceremony and was lucky enough to get Gryffindor! 

My first class was charms and these were my notes:

Our class teacher, Proffesor Laurel greeted us into class and we were all confused to see a big wooden box. Mysterioulsy we sat down and started to learn!

We learnt that these were the first wands made, created with lead and wood, thousands of years ago as and alternative to wands people also controlled their magic by wrapping hippogriff feathers around sticks, using crystals and metal rods were also used although these did not have as much control as the lead and wooden wands did.

We learnt that the Olivander family has been making wands since 382 B.C.E. Their family business is among the best and longest serving for over a thousand years!

The Wizards Coucil was created by some old wizards who created rules and punished who broke them this worked for a long time - this was founded in 990 C.E.

Then one thousand years ago muggles began to fear magic this eventually eruppted into a mass persucution of witches and wizards the biggest persuction was called the Salem Witch Trials where witches and wizards were burnt to the death luckily many survived using the Flame-freezing charm. This persuctuting stage went for about 300 years!

We soon began to realise it was to dangerous to live amongst muggles so in 1689 the International Statue of Secrecy was signed and founded. Then the Wizards council founded the British Ministry of Magic to help manage it all in 1707. In 1875 the Decree for the reasonable restriction of underage sorcery was established basically no student is allowed to do magic outside of allowed areas like hogwarts and hogsmeade or diagon alley.

We then went to learn our first charms which was lumos and lights up the tip of your wand like a torch to do so you need to make a clock wise loop with your wand. And then Nox to extinguish which is just a flick of the wand. 

I then went to my dorm room and completed the assignment of my first time I accidently produced magic!
