Rowena Ravenclaw
Chapter 3
Rowena Ravenclaw, a Scottish witch and one of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, was noted for her intelligence and creativity. She died sometime in the eleventh century, after she fell ill. The theory is that her daughter Helena ran away with her diadem, and she had a broken heart. Rowena's portrait remaines at Hogwarts.
