There are a few academic/professional rumored updates, so we will do that before the REAL tea begins.

So, it has come to my attention that unfortunately, Magical Studies Groups are going kind of stale. They are temporarily...stopping! Sorry for everyone who tried to engage theirs :( By all means, however, please continue to show up for class and complete your assignments on time. But sadly, that extra help is beginning to come to an end.

I’m sure most of you readers know this by now BUT Mythology is closing its doors TODAY! AS YOU (yes you) ARE READING THIS! There have been PLENTY of warnings and notices about them closing soooo I’m not really going to cover it much more!

Can we take a quick moment to talk about the UTTER SPAM! In the library! My goodness, I’m so happy everyone here loves to write and read but goodness gracious! Sometimes it won’t even let me edit or publish new books due to all the spam! And to be quite honest, I can barely find the real books written by students in the mix of spammy advertisements published by bots.

NOW! I think that’s quite enough of the “boring” news, did you all hear about what was going on between Nearly Headless Nick and The Grey Lady? I heard around the castle that he gave her a beautiful gift for this holiday season! How cute! Personally I think it’s adorable! Maybe we will see a new relationship blossoming this February! Although, we might also discover some DRAMA since the Grey Lady and the Bloody Baron have a past together!

I also heard along the grapevine that Hagrid was serving some yummy tea and cookies at his place. I know I’ll be stopping by there to say hello - although the rock cakes might just break my pearly whites. Oops!

Oh! How could I forget! Our very own, Michael I, journalist, is directing a musical of the first Harry Potter movie! You’ll see Autumn Edelstein as Harry, myself as Ron, Sara Rowan as Hermione AND Draco! WOW! That’s so exciting!! Make sure to check it out and glimpse the magic in action!

Did you also hear that all the teachers had a secret santa? How sweet is that!!! Ohhh, the holiday season is just the best - it's so comforting and cozy, the perfect time to be with all your friends and family!

And finally I don’t know if you came from the Quidditch field but did ya hear? Slytherin won because of foul play on Gryffindors side! Apparently someone purposely slammed into the Slytherin Seeker and they fell to the ground. Then the ref called foul play and that was all the motivation the Slytherin needed to win! How exciting!!
