Chapter 2

Welcome readers! There may not have happened much this month, but I still have some unbelievable news to share. I’m guessing that this is your favourite chapter, so get comfortable and read all of the tea from this month!

Starting off, there was sadly some news that shocked us all. Mythology is closing. That’s right, the headmistress is soon closing off the doors to Mythology. The course will be deleted on December 31st, 2024. If you’re interested in Mythology and haven’t gotten a chance to take the class yet, you might want to hurry. Time is running out!

More sad news - Cam Malfoy, a HMN journalist, has sadly had to leave because he is busy IRL. I wish you the best of luck for your muggle life, Cam!

Next, we have some very exciting news. Guess what, dear readers? The dreadful notification bug has finally been fixed! Beforehand, if you tried to view all of your notifications, it took you to an error screen, but now it is finally working. A big thank you to the great team at HiH for fixing it!

Are you interested in helping out around HiH, grading assignments, and helping others? Well lucky you, because PA and Professor Applications are still open. Special mention, HiH is now in need of a permanent professor for Muggle Studies; go apply now!

What’s that I hear? There is a new Hufflepuff Head of House? That’s right, folks—we have a new head of house for us Huffies! Professor Laurel, our Charms professor, has recently become Hufflepuff HoH. We Hufflepuffs are so lucky and grateful to be represented by such a wonderful person. Congratulations to Professor Laurel! Finally, let’s end this chapter on a good note. It’s a pleasure to tell you all that we have a new Cover Designer at HMN! We have unfortunately had to say goodbye to our previous Cover Designer, Katerina Scammander, but Adeleina Rosewood has filled her role. We are all so happy to have Adeleina with us, so please welcome her, and we hope you enjoy her new designs!
