Chapter 1

1. 26 white horses on a red hill. First they champ, then they stamp, then they stand still. 

What are the white horses?

2. First think of the person who lives in disguise, who deals in secrets and tells naught but lies. Next, tell me what's always the last thing to mend, the middle of middle and end of the end? And finally give me the sound often heard during the search for a hard-to-find word. Now string them together, and answer me this,

Which creature would you be unwilling to kiss?

 3. I roam the woods of Hogwarts at night and my coat is a beautiful, pearly white, but if you dare to drink my blood then you shall be half-cursed for life.

4. You may not remember me, I taught long ago, and I died one night, when the Dark Lord met his foe.

5. I am a creature that can be both friend and foe, with a heart of gold and a fierce glow. I guard the treasures of the deep, but in the wizarding world, my secrets I keep.

6.  I am a place where the lost can be found, hidden from sight, yet all around. A sanctuary for those who seek, but only the brave can enter my peak.

7. I am an object that can reveal the past, but my power is great, and my hold is vast. I show the truth, but at what cost? For those who seek me may find themselves lost.

8.  I am a creature that can be both loyal and fierce, with a howl that echoes, my presence can pierce. I guard the secrets of the night, but only to those who show me the light.

What am I?

9. I am a creature that can only be seen by those who have faced death, with a skeletal frame and a silent breath. I guide the lost to the other side, but only the brave can take my ride.

What am I?

10. I am a creature that guards a vault, with a fierce glare and a heart of salt. I can be bribed with gold, but beware of my might, for I’ll protect my treasures with a fight.
