Chapter 3

We sat there in some shack silent and we could hear the infected people outside, they knew we were here. I looked at Noah and he nodded, " we have to make a run for it," I whispered as they all nodded. As we krept the girl who we all called Winter triped," OWW," she yelled, I grabbed Noah's hand held tight to my baby and screamed,"RUNNNNN." Lily grabed Winter´s hand and ran with Dan following us. There was no way we were making it they were much faster than us, I handed Forest to Noah, grabbed my gun, and turned, Lily did the same. The boys ran as Lily and I shot anything we saw. Soon enough we had to make a run for it ourselves there were to many and they were getting to close so we ran deep into the forest. It was quiet, to quiet. I almost put down my gun till I heard a twig snap. "Fay, Lily are you guys ok," Dan quietly spoke. I let out a sigh of relief, "yes we are ok lets get the hell out of here now,"I said trying to calm down, "f*** yes, where are Winter and Forest," Lily asked, "they are with me right here," said Noah. "Ok lets camp in the woods tonight, NO fire understand," everyone nodded so we went to find a spot. When we found a pretty hidden spot we decided that since it wasn't safe we would stay up while the kids slept. Even though Lily and Dan fell asleep together Noah was still up with me. "So besides it being the zombie apocalypse, how was your day," he asked, "well I got chased by the walkers and found a 12 year old kid, but it was pretty good," " thats nice well I am going to look around,¨ ¨ok,¨ I said. The next morning when Dan and Lily woke up they felt bad for falling asleep. " It is ok bro lets just find a new spot to stay," they all agreed. As we walked threw the forest I heard some weird noises, but thought so that I didn't scare Forest or Winter I would keep it to myself. We ran into a big house that was in perfect shape. It was also surrounded by a tall fence that only needed a few touch ups. The house was also hidden in the woods. " Lily we need to check the house for walkers," She nodded. As we walked threw all the rooms they looked completely clean, "I think someone lives here," Lily said slowly, "well we are staying so they can stay with us or they can go," I said angrily.
