Knockout Jinx
Chapter 2
The Knockout Jinx (Flipendo) is a jinx that knocks the victim backwards. While it's mostly used for dueling, it can also be used to push back heavy objects. Effects can vary, depending on the point of impact. It could be a simple knock to the chest, or it could knock someone out. It could even feel like being hit in the head by a frying pan, leaving one a bit disoriented. When cast, a loud bang is emitted. This jinx can also break fragile objects. The spell is derived from the English words "flip" and "end," simply meaning "to flip someone onto their end".
