Studying

Chapter 2

It was a dull, Wintry weekend. As their OWLs were coming up, the Marauders were studying hard to make sure they got their best grades possible, especially in Transfiguration; they all excelled in that subject. Remus, for once, however, was finding it hard to concentrate on his pile of books, as Sirius was bored and kept turning into a dog and back again with a snap so quickly it was like the sound of fireworks. "Sirius, please stop. We are supposed to be studying for Transfiguration." snapped Remus. "But Moony, this IS Transfiguration!" pleaded Sirius sarcastically, "but fine. I'll stop." He sat on the sofa with his arms crossed and yawned. He lay his head on Remus' lap and much to his surprise, he let him stay there. After a few minutes, he started stroking his messy black hair subconsciously, while the clink of a few coins being handed to James from the bet was heard.
