Ohayou gozaimasu, and welcome to Witches' Essence: Palmistry. In this book, you will learn how to tell your future through the art of palmistry. But first, what is palmistry?

Palmistry is the art of interpreting a person's character and reading a person's future by examining the lines and other features of their palms. In easier words, palmistry is the practice of reading about a person's life through their hands. Palmistry is quite easy to learn, and like any other methods of fortune-telling, can get easier and easier with more practice. Palmistry has been used in the wizarding world for thousands of years. A person's hand could be seen as a type of “wand” into fortune-telling:

"One of the ideas that serve as the foundation of palmistry is the fact that all people have different hand prints. No two hands are the same."

I, Chiyoko Amaterasu, have had experience with palmistry. My mother earned all O's in Astronomy during her time at Hogwarts, and now works as a muggle hand-reader.
