Chapter 10
~ When the officers left, I stayed and walked the streets to where the hooded man jumped into the truck. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a figure. As I turned around I saw down the dark alley, the same man. He tricked us. I ran straight at him and he ran. After about 10 minutes of running after him he disappeared behind a dumpster. “What? I was so close.” I said while crying out in frustration. I looked around at my surroundings and I was near an abandoned warehouse near the port. “These things do not make sense.” I said. Going in there alone is too dangerous. I’ll call Scott.
