Entry 5 I guess

Chapter 6

Ok journal, So I've decided to stop writing dates on these because sometimes I fall asleep writing an entry and don't finish it until 2 days later. Rose took me to Hogsmeade for the first time (because I'm the only first year allowed to go) and we met up with Victoire at The Three Broomsticks for some Butterbeer. Turns out people around here definitely take an interest in who the Weasley cousin's hang out with, and we VERY interested in who the strange American girl was with them. I was kind of hoping they would take note of my reddish hair and just assume I was extended family, but no, they asked me many many questions. I think there was eventually a crowd of 16 witches and wizards crowded around listening to me talk about my parents' fidelius charm and how I had to pass the W.O.M.B.A.T.S. to even be allowed to come to the wizarding area of the UK. I'm not scared of public speaking or anything, but sometimes it can be extremely fatiguing having to mask in front of so many people for so long. Anyway, we are getting close to midterms now, which shouldn't be too bad, but I am a little nervous about potions. But if the tweens can do it so can I, right? My favorite subjects are definitely herbology and transfigurations so far. I definitely think Professor Longbottom and I will be friends one day.
