Ok journal, I was researching my wand for Charms class and found out some cool info! My wand is Larch wood with a phoenix feather core, 10" and slightly springy flexibility btw - Mr. Ollivander said my wand was made from the same larch wood tree and phoenix as Celestina Warbeck's wand. I've been listening to her music while I practice spells. I think it helps me and my wand focus better. - Garrick Ollivander wrote "It is often the case that the witch or wizard who belongs to the larch wand may never realise the full extent of their considerable talents until paired with it, but that they will then make an exceptional match." That's true for me! Before I got it, I was using my mom's wand and I could barely do any spells. - He also said "This is the rarest core type. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this." I hope I'm that way too, because it took me a while to reveal any magic lol. Pretty cool! Also also also my Potions Professor is TERRIFYING. I already saw him threaten a student with detention. I know I shouldn't be scared, like I'm a literal adult but jesus this man is intimidating as hell! Which reminds me I need to go write an essay for him now so.... BYE
