How I think it should have ended.

Chapter 2

Now Katniss and Peeta were the only two tributes left. Peeta had told Katniss to shoot him. 'I don't have anyone to go home to' he said 'You have your mum and sister'. It took Katniss a while but finally she held out her hand. In them were berry's. 'Eat them' Katniss said. She found it easier if Peeta ate berry's that would kill him instead of shooting him. Peeta took the berrys and ate them. Within seconds he was dead. The canon went of, and a voice said 'Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you our 74th Hunger Games Victor'. Katniss had won the games. On the train back Haymitch seemed more alive then before they started. ' I knew you could do it' he kept saying. 'I knew you would win' So now that Katniss was the only winner, there was no war. Instead The Hunger Games kept happening. Katniss was the mentor to the female tribute, while Haymitch was the mentor to the male tribute. Prim still died in the explosion. Katniss and Gale were married and had to children. Prim and Finnick.
