Mollie Safron is used to her luxurious life back in District 2, going to parties in fancy dresses at the mayor's house, training with cute boys, it perfect. Until the reaping starts. Millie's name was put into the least amount of times. It's no use, when her name is called she goes up, a d shakes the boy's hand. It's one of the street rats. As a goodbye her parents give her a diamond necklace. Then she says goodbye.

When the day finally arrived Mollie, and Samie met at the ice cream parlour with John. They agreed to meet each other at the city center 2:00 sharp. Samie and Mollie went to Mollie's house, getting their matching dresses on. 'Who is going to get chosen?' Samie asked, and Mollie laughed 'Not me or you!' And Samie smiled. Samie came from a wealthy family as well with pale skin, and red curly hair. She spoke Spanish and French fluently, and Mollie spoke German and Russian. Samie met Mollie on her 1st birthday, at the park. At 1:30 Mollie and Samie left to go to the City Center. They met John there with his sister Rosemary. Mollie and John had meant four years earlier, at the ice cream parlour. Reaping started at 3:00. Mollie's parents had arrived with her baby brother. The announcer, who had replaced Effie Trinket was called Maybell Rose, a lady with bright pink hair, and cherry flavoured lip gloss. Maybell reaped differently, she always did gentleman first. Of course she made her speach. 'Long ago back in 74 ATT there was a girl and a boy from District 12 called Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. They killed the president and Mayor, at the cost of thousands of lives. They stopped these games. Then my father came a mid stared them up again. It is important Panem gets the money and people it needs. So, from this day on we are proud to hold the annual 87th Hunger Games! May the odds be ever in your favour!' She would say, then picked up a small slip of paper out of the bowl. 'Gentleman first, we have......... James Hadley!' A boy about Mollie's age with a dirty face came up looking scared. 'Now, welcome James! Ladies!! Our female tribute is.....'
