Mollie Safron is used to her luxurious life back in District 2, going to parties in fancy dresses at the mayor's house, training with cute boys, it perfect. Until the reaping starts. Millie's name was put into the least amount of times. It's no use, when her name is called she goes up, a d shakes the boy's hand. It's one of the street rats. As a goodbye her parents give her a diamond necklace. Then she says goodbye.

'Mollie, you are going to be late for school!' 'I'm coming!' A zoom of pink fluff, high white shoes, and thundering down the stairs. 'Mollie, what on earth are you wearing! You cant wear that!' 'Why not! Its pretty!' 'Go change! Fast!' More thudding on the stairs. A woman sighed rubbing her hands on her face. 'How about this?' The girl asked, thunking back down. 'Fine.' The woman said looking at the small blirle dress, and pink slip on shoes. 'Thank you! Nellie! Hurry up!' The girl shouted. With a roll of her eyes she slammed the front door and made her way out of the stone path. That was Mollie Safron, a rich District 2 girl, who has lived 14 years in a big house, on the biggest neighborhood in District 2. She has the perfect life. A best friend, who walks to school with her, an amazing boyfriend who kisses her in public, and a family who supports everything she does. Who could ask for more! When Mollie was 10 she learned about something called "The Hunger Games" and she learned that her aunt Clove died in them. After her mother gave her the lecture she was signed into an academy two blocks away from her house. That is where she trained. She was a talented girl but her greatest skill was bow and arrow. She could shoot from anywhere and hit the moving target. Her boyfriend's name was John, he was all she could have hoped for, he loved her more than anyone could, he had taught her all of her bow and arrow skills. He bought her gifts and took her places. He did everything for her. This specific day, May 16th, 84ATT, Mollie, John, and Samie (Her best friend) were heading to school, talking about the same old things; John and Mollie's couple name, how Andra was kicked out of the academy, and of course, reaping. Reaping was in two days, and the girl's trainer was making the 14 year old girls work harder than ever. Thet started with punching bags, until each one of their knuckled were bloody, then they moved on to rope tying. During break all the girls went to the heath until to wrap their hands. Mollie hasmd never been chosen for reaping, and she was thankful. Her aunt Clove had, and had died with her love Cato Hadley. It was said a stone had been brought to her skull, but Mollie's mother did not talk about it. No body else in her family had been chosen, and she had never lost anyone special to her. After academy each day John, Samie, and Mollie went to get Ice Cream after school ; like everyday. They talked about the games. Samie and Mollie stopped by the girl's reaping shop and bought matching sea green dresses, whilst John go a suit. The stores were packed and after an hour Samie and Mollie had enough and they went to Mollie's house. Samie stayed over that night and they did the same routine the next day, awaiting for the reaping day.
