The head of this house is Severus Snape, who’s also the potions master at Hogwarts. Slytherin house has the least members by a significant amount. (7 out of 20) Slytherin are commonly thought of as evil or malicious, when really, that isn’t the case at all, though Slytherin House has produced the largest amount of the evil wizards. Some of Slytherin’s core words and traits are- Cunning Ambition Determination Leadership The Slytherin colors are green and silver, and their animal mascot is a snake. Slytherin Houses element is water. Like mentioned briefly before, most people think of Slytherin House as the evil house. It has produced evil wizards, such as Lord Voldemort. This is a common misconception, as they are not all evil and some Slytherin are actually very good people. The Slytherin have the most cynical view of the world, and are very selective about their friends and who they trust. They like to stick with other Slytherin, and mostly keep to tradition. Slytherin will do anything to succeed, and they value success above all else. They’re very ambitious. Once they decided what they want, nothing can stop them. If you get in their way, beware. Slytherin are notably cunning, which makes people wary of them. They like to hide their emotions, but deep deep DEEP down, they actually do have feelings. Ravenclaw and Slytherin make the dream-team, and are one of the better matches of the Houses. Slytherin commonly become lawyers and doctors.
