When it started to drizzle, Buckbeak quickly found a cave and stayed there for the night. When he woke up, he saw a Jackalope. The Jackalope looked even more frightened than he did. “Is it okay if I stay with you?” asked the Jackalope with her fur soggy and wet. Buckbeak froze, for he didn’t know what to say. “I mean here, in this cave.” said the Jackalope. “Umm, okay,” said Buckbeak. “Thank you! What is your name?” she questioned. “Buckbeak,” he said. “That’s a nice name.” said the Jackalope. “What’s yours?”Buckbeak asked the Jackalope. “Chloe.” said the Jackalope. “Well I think Chloe is a nice name too,” replied Buckbeak. “You do?! Well my friends don’t, they call me Clumsy Chloe.” said the Jackalope. “Oh, I’m sorry they call you that. Wait, do you have a family?” said Buckbeak. “Of course I do! Me, my mom, and my dad, what about you?” said the Jackalope. “ I have a sister named Stormswift, and a mother and father,” said Buckbeak. “Oh that's nice,” said the Jackalope. “So, where are you trying to go?” “I’m trying to reach Hogwarts, there was a big storm there and I ended up here. They have Jackalope there too, want to come?” asked Buckbeak. “Actually, I’m trying to get there too!” exclaimed Chloe. “What a coincidence! said, Buckbeak. “Want to go together?” They both nodded in unison while smiling.
