Suddenly, Buckbeak woke up. Where am I? he asked himself. He saw a big herd of centaurs walk by on a beautiful wet light green field. What is this place? he questioned with confusion. Suddenly he heard a slithering noise behind him. “Hssss, hssss.” “I think I hear a basilisk,” Buckbeak said. “Yesss, you do.” “ Who is saying that?!” Buckbeak turned around, and to his surprise, he only saw a teeny tiny pond, he knelt down to take a drink, but, felt a sticky, slimy animal slithering up his back. Slowly as a snail, he turned his head around to see a wet water basilisk. “Ahhhh!” Buckbeak was shaking with fear, as he had never seen a water basilisk before. What if it was planning to bite him to death or something? He choked on his words, and was so scared that he started to run, he ran as fast as he could.
