Chapter Four Fort Underwood Eddie ran to the dining room at full speed which was no easy feat considering he had been crouching in a closet for about half an hour. When he reached the dining table he picked up Xena from her basket and ran towards the roof of the building. “Why did Miss Rose have to hide the only way up to the roof?”Eddie wondered as he opened the door to another closet. “I will never play hide and seek in closets again.” He muttered to himself. Eddie looked in the closet and saw a tall and wobbly ladder leading about 5 feet up. Eddie groaned whilst looking down at the small child in his arms. As he looked around the room he heard a deafening crash from upstairs. Eddie knew he had to hurry up, and suddenly he saw what he was looking for in the room. As he ran to the backpack as fast as he could, more loud bangs came from the hallway. “Sorry Xena” He muttered as he placed the child into the bag whilst making sure the flaps were still open. Suddenly, the final blow happened, Victor blasted through the door while still wrestling a very enraged Sora. “SPEED IT UP A BIT EDDIE!”Victor exclaimed as he tackled Sora to the ground once more. *Thank you for reading!
