Dumbledore Is Concerned

Chapter 5

Firenze banged on the huge double doors of Hogwarts and then leaned against the cold, stone wall. His head and his legs ached and he was beginning to wish he had listened to Bane. Just then, the door opened, revealing a frowning Dumbledore. “Firenze? What is it? Do come in.” said the grim looking wizard. “Is something wrong, Dumbledore?” asked Firenze with concern. “Yes, lots of things are wrong. For one thing, Voldemort may be back. For another, I seem to have run out of sherbet lemons.” Dumbledore laughed at his own joke, and Firenze laughed too, but Dumbledore noticed this was not the usual hearty laugh he was used to. He also noticed Firenze’s worried expression and tired eyes.
