Chapter 1

In the shadows of the dark night sky dotted with stars, there stood a tall figure gazing up at the moon. It was a centaur (a creature that is half horse and half man). Slowly the centaur turned around, muttering to himself under his breath. “All right, Firenze?” spoke a deep voice, breaking the silence that hung in the air. Another centaur stepped out from behind a towering tree. “No, I am not. I have seen strange things in the sky and I can’t get my head around it,” replied Firenze distantly. “What is it, we shall figure it out together, shan’t we, my friend?” said the centaur anxiously. “Not tonight, Bane,” said Firenze simply, and with that, he wandered off into the thick of the forest.
