THE SECRET
Chapter 4
As I cooked the last egg (without magic as my wand was hidden somewhere), Eleanor and Rick returned from their kidnapping trip. Yes, their kidnapping trip. They go out for a walk and kidnap whichever child or person they can. It's cruel, absolutely cruel, but if I mention this to them, they will definitely use the cruciatus curse on me. A perfectly horrible time of my life was in process. It had been three days since I was here in this terrible place, and those days had been pathetic. Not to mention all the chores I had to do in addition of thinking up all sorts of lies and stories to fill those stuck up death eaters with.
I turned around as they came in, hoping that they had been unsuccessful in their search. Yes, I saw no witch or wizard behind them. I felt relieved but almost immediately, it was changed to the feeling of despair and loneliness. I sighed as Rick sat down on the table and demanded for food. Eleanor set the last protective spell and joined Rick on the table. They started to talk and I listened intently. One thing you should know about them is that they never bother to keep their voice down while talking in front of me and, this is why I keep hoping that they let some of their secrets slip. As they munched on their breakfast, they chatted about the day's happenings, "That one escaped, and now he is going to tell everyone about us. Great! We better not leave this place for one week." Eleanor suggested. Rick was drinking butterbeer and choked as he heard what Eleanor had said, "A week?! Are you kidding me? No way! I am going to go out tomorrow young lady, and yes, you are younger than me, so you better listen!" He finished. Eleanor looked surprised by this sudden outburst. It was very hilarious and I laughed at the last line but hastily turned it into a cough as Eleanor gave me the stares.
I swept the floor as they continued, "Well, while we were out there, I made a plan of how to attack Hogwarts." Eleanor said mysteriously. My ears pricked up at the sound of 'attack Hogwarts' and I inched forward to listen better. "We will go in from the back door. The one that leads to the girls' washroom. Then, we will go to the nearest classroom and boom! Stupefy the teacher. In the meantime, our fellow death eaters will be stupefying all the other teachers and we will round up the students with the help of Laura and Alfred. If any student tries to use a spell on us, we will use the cruciatus curse on 'em. Then, wands taken and broken. Teachers, paralyzed and locked in cupboards, or even better, killed. And as for the dementors, we will force the headmistress to tell them to leave else all the students will be tortured badly." Eleanor said and sat back in the chair smugly. My eyes widened at the thought of this idea and I trembled with fear. Rick clapped loudly then stopped and asked, "Which death eaters will accompany us? there aren't many. Maybe thirty in all?" Eleanor chuckled wickedly, "I'll tell you dumb, stupid, little Thomas. There are, in all, around seventy death eaters. New ones were added of course. All of them will accompany us. The leaders will be you, me, Cassandra, Evelyn, Derek and Marcus. I have got the approval of the rest and we are all good to go." Rick high-fived with Eleanor as she finished and they started talking about quidditch.
My mind was racing. I had to escape to let McGonagall know about these things! The death eaters were even more dangerous than we all thought. They were incredibly powerful too! The only advantage we had was the number of people. But if the teachers would be paralyzed, then there was no chance of winning against these homicidal death eaters. If the death eaters revealed all their secrets like this, it would be brilliant! But I had to escape too, and that, would be a very difficult task to carry out by myself.
