Chapter 1

I was having a wonderful dream of being surrounded by cauldron cakes and chocolate frogs when it turned into a nightmare! I was sitting with death eaters in a dimly lit room, who were deciding how to kill me. I screamed and they used the cruciatus curse on me 'till I became silent. The scene changed and a death eater was advancing towards me with a knife, yes a knife, not a wand, in his hand. He was about to stab me when I woke up breathing heavily. My whole body was shaking and I was drenched in sweat. Everyone in my dorm was sleeping peacefully, but the dorm itself had become intensely hot. I badly wanted to take a walk in the grounds outside, but I couldn't. Oh boy! I almost forgot to give you an intro of myself! I go by the name Mia Grazer but my actual name is Mary. I am a half blood with my English mother being a witch and my American father being a muggle. I study at Hogwarts (the most brilliant wizard school EVER!) and I am in my sixth year. My best friends here are Edward, whom everyone calls Eddie and Marley. Both of them are intelligent and mischievous like me, classic Ravenclaws. Yes, I am in Ravenclaw. Alora is another friend of mine but she is in Slytherin. So, the dream. It was terrifying and I couldn't get back to sleep because of it. It was very hot too so I decided to take a walk in the grounds. I knew it was risky but, nothing would happen if I took my wand with me right? You might ask why it was risky. Well, do you remember the dark times during the time of the famous Harry Potter? Voldemort had many followers called death eaters and now, after 50 years, the children and grand children of those death eaters are trying to bring back the dark. They want to do what Voldemort could not: They want to conquer the world and make it dark. A few weeks ago, just after the new term had started, a few death eaters were spotted in Hogsmeade. Since then, no one could go out of the castle after 6 pm. Not even in the grounds. Hogsmeade trips were cancelled too. Aurors are searching for death eaters everywhere but Azkaban cells are still empty. I knew it was dangerous, going out in the grounds but I couldn't resist myself. I pocketed my wand and padded softly to the door. I pushed it open and tip-toed down the spiral staircase. It was five minutes past midnight. I looked back to see if anyone was following me and I climbed out of the hole.
