Chapter One: The Hogwarts Letter

Chapter 1

Elizabeth Weasley woke up as the shining sun smiled brightly at her, telling her that today was a good day. Elizabeth looked at her snoring twin brother, Ronald Weasley, and rolled her eyes. "Wake up, sleepyhead!" she yelled, standing up and walking over to Ron. "Five more minutes, Beth!" Ron yelled back, covering his head with his pillow. Elizabeth sighed. "You want me to do it the hard way?" she asked, before putting on the evil grin. "Oh no! Not the hard way! No! Please, I will! I will wake up!" said Ron, as he quickly got up, knowing that his twin would splash water on him. Elizabeth smirked. She always gets what she wants. Elizabeth yawned again before going to the bathroom. She started brushing her soft, red hair. Unlike all of her family members, she didn't have freckles. Her face was very pale (not paler then the Malfoys' though!), her hair were very soft (since her mother always plaits them into a pigtail), her beautiful blue eyes had long eyelashes on them. "Ron! Eliza! Ginny! Fred! George!" yelled a familiar voice that belong to nobody but Percy Weasley, Elizabeth's least favorite sibling. "What?" said Elizabeth, putting on her clothes. "It's breakfast time!" replied Percy, as Elizabeth imagined him rolling his eyes. "Coming, Rooster!" said Elizabeth, making Ron laugh and Percy yell, "HEY!" ✷✷✷ " 'Morning Weasleys!" said Arthur Weasley, as he entered the Burrow. "Good morning, Dad!" replied the kids, before returning to their breakfast (scrambled eggs). "Good morning, Molly!" Mr. Weasley smiled at his wife brightly, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Yum! Can I have another plate, Mum?" asked Ginny Weasley, licking her lips. "Sure dear, you and Eliza helped me make it!" smiled Mrs. Weasley, as she got another plate of scrambled eggs and handed it to Ginny. Just before Eliza was going to do the same, a brown owl flew in. She was carrying two envelopes. The owl handed Elizabeth and Ron an envelope and flew away. "Do you think it's--?" began Ron, but Elizabeth already read the letter and yelled, "IT'S OUR HOGWARTS LETTER!"
