Getting The Acceptance Letter

Chapter 2

01/08/2018 Hi Diary, So today was an AMAZING day, you can probably tell why it was so great, from the heading I wrote, but today I Finally got my letter to Hogwarts! I've been dreaming of this day for my whole life, and today it actually happened! It started off as a normal day, waking up at 06:00 am, having breakfast and quizzing myself on magical creatures! But just as I was getting onto my favourite creature(fairies,) an owl came swooping in through our kitchen window! It was holding a letter, the same one my mother received when she found out she was going to Hogwarts! I took the letter off the owl and thanked her, she flew elegantly through the house and out the window. I called my parents and we all sat down, my mother hugged me and told me how proud she was. Gently I opened the envelope, Inside was a long letter with the Hogwarts logo at the top! I excitedly read the letter, from bottom to top! After reading I was full of excitement, I ran around the house shouting, "I'm finally going to Hogwarts!" About 5 minutes later, I was lying dead on the floor from running and screaming around the house. My mum had made me muggle pancakes while I was busy running, and she gave them to me just as I fell on the floor! " You seem excited to go to Hogwarts, I know it's been your dream school." she said "Yes, Hogwarts is my dream School! And I finally get to go there!" I panted "Well I had a great time at Hogwarts, and I'm sure your brothers will help you along the way" she answered. I smiled and gave her a hug! After finishing my pancakes, we decided to go shopping at Diagon Alley the next day. I sped to my room and started packing for Hogwarts...Even if I was a month early!
