The Peverells

Chapter 7

There is a theory amongst believers in the Hallows that the three Peverell brothers were the original owners of the Hallows. The brothers' names were Antioch, Ignotus, and Cadmus- they were the owners of the Elder Wand, Invisibility Cloak, and Resurrection Stone, respectively. Harry Potter and his family, the last owners of the Invisibility cloak, are descended from Ignotus Peverell. On Ignotus's grave in Godric's Hollow, the Deathly Hallows symbol is carved.
