The Resurrection Stone

The Resurrection Stone is a stone that, when turned three times in your hand, can recall loved ones from the dead. There is a catch, however. The Stone can only recall a ghost-like projection of loved ones. In the Tale, the second brother's deceased fiance was sad and lonely in the mortal world, so he killed himself to join her in Death. When in the Forbidden Forest, the Resurrection Stone's most recent owner, Harry Potter was able to make his parents and their friends come back from the dead, but they were, yet again, simply projections of the real people. Instead of making him miss them more, however, they empowered him to face Voldemort- and Death. He dropped the Stone in the forest and nobody has found it since.
