Chapter 1

Chapter One Why this? Jax sits up with a gasp as a huge clap of lightning flashes across the sky. Accompanied with a thunder that shakes the house. She looks over the tiny, (and at this moment very cold) circular window. She shakes her head, also trying to shake out all the memories that were in her dream. She wanted a hug from her brother; no she needed a hug from her brother. She knew that probably wouldn't be possible. He’d be at work. He’s always at work. She sighs, a chill running up her spine. Standing up, she walks over and looks at herself in the mirror. Everyone always said that she was so pretty, she really didn’t understand what they saw in her. Her sliver like eyes seemed clouded over, her thick, long, wavy red hair was always a mess, (at this moment, it was fluffy and made her look like a red furred lion) and her porcelain skin was so light that you could see every flaw in it; and to Jax, there were a lot of flaws. She sighs, kneeling next to the other bed in the fairly large room. She pushes back the long blonde hair of her sister. “Hey.” She says, with a light smile. “What?” Her sister says with a sleepy yawn, before opening her eyes and look inquisitively up onto her older sister’s face. “What time is it?” Her gaze moves from her sister to the tiny circle window above her Jax’s bed, it over looks a meadow, not that her could see that. She cuddles closer to her sister with a light yawn. Jax glances over at a glowing blue alarm clock. “Around one in the morning. “Why’d ya wake me?”
