Hermione's full name is Hermione Jean Granger. As we all know, she's a muggleborn. Her Patronus is an Otter, and her Boggart is Professor McGonagall giving her a fail grade. How Hermione got her letter: As soon as she was born, a quill and book in the ministry wrote her name down. When she turned eleven, an owl and wizard gave her the letter and explained to her parents that she was a witch.
