"You're making some of us death eaters?" Jocelyn asked incredulously. "Yes," Dumbledore nodded. The friends let out cries of outrage. Finally, Rhianna managed to let out a small, "Who?" Dumbledore smiled, "We've decided it would be too risky to send out the ones who were held captive last year, so the other five." "And what happens to us?" Ella asked, brows raised. "You will join the order of the pheonix." "And we get absolutely no say in this?" James asked, anger fuelling his voice. "Everybody must do their part if we will ever win this war." "You're sick," Lebron spat. "We could do our part from this side, you already have a spy, you don't need some 15 year old kids in older bodies to be spies." Dumbledore smiled sadly, "If there was another option, I'd take it-" "Flumadiddle! Utter tosh!" Ella fumed. "There are plenty of other ways, you just won't open your eyes!" "She's right," Eloise spoke up strongly. Her quiet voice was filled with venom, "You have plenty of other ways, you don't need us to spy, we already know what they're doing. We've read the books." "Your being here will have messed up the timeline, so we don't know that for sure," Dumbledore said. "Severus will be coming to take you five shortly." With that, the headteacher disapparated. Each friend looked at each other, fear evident in their eyes. Ella bit her lip, Rhianna had sunk to the floor, Eloise and Jocelyn were both shaking with a mixture of fear and anger. Evan was fuming, James was clenching his fists. Even Lebron and Lucas couldn't seem to find the bright side. "We'll be fine, we always are," Ella said. Nobody believed her. Everything was a mess.
