Pronunciation: (ven-TUS)
Spell Type: Jinx
Description: Produces a white-spiraling light and a strong blast of wind is shot from the end of the wand.
Wand Gesture: Whip-like motion
Notes: This spell can be augmented to become more powerful with an added incantation.
Ventus Duo - (ven-TUS) (DOO-oh) – Creates a more powerful gust of wind.
Ventus Tria - (ven-TUS) (TREE-ah) – Creates an even more powerful wind gust.
Vera Verto
Pronunciation: (vair-uh) (VAIR-toh)
Spell Type: Transfiguration
Description: Produces a crystal clear light and turns animals into water goblets.
Wand Gesture: Tap wand three times on animal
Verdimillious
Pronunciation: (vur-duh-MILL-ee-us)
Spell Type: Charm
Description: Produces a green light and sparks which shoot out of the caster’s wand, the sparks then explode around the target causing minor pain and distraction. The other use for this spell is to produce green sparks which shoot off like a flare and reveal objects hidden with the Dark Arts, by illumination for a short period of time. Once the illumination is over, the objects are no longer revealed.
Wand Gesture: Forward slash for exploding sparks, and circling wand overhead for illumination
Notes: This spell can be augmented to become more powerful with an added incantation.
Verdimillious Duo - (vur-duh-MILL-ee-us) (DOO-oh) – Sparks will do greater harm to the target, and have the potential to subdue werewolves if cast by multiple witches/wizards. The revealing use changes from producing a green light to a red light, and hidden objects will stay revealed even after the flare effect wears off.
Verdimillious Tria - (vur-duh-MILL-ee-us) (TREE-ah) – Instead of sparks, green lightning-like discharge will shoot from the wand. Much stronger than standard or duo. Can also subdue werewolves. This version has no illumination capabilities.
Vulnera Sanentur
Pronunciation: (vul-nur-ah) (sahn-en-tur)
Spell Type: Counter-Curse/Healing
Description: Causes wounds and gashes to heal up and any blood to return to the victim by: slowing blood flow, clearing residue, and knitting up wound. Counter-Curse to Sectumsempra.
Wand Gesture: Trace wand over wounds
