Prologue

Chapter 1

"Mora, come inside dear. It's getting dark," called her mother just barely stepping onto the porch of her house. "But mom, Prince Edmund needs my help," replied Mora from her perch in the tree. "I am his best marksman!" "I'm sure the battle can wait, your father should be home soon. I'm sure he wants you to eat dinner with him," taunted her mother. Elizabeth knew this would get Mora to come inside, Mora adorned her father. "Coming mom," shouted Mora climbing down the tree quickly. She basically jumped off. Mora sprinted inside and ran upstairs to wash the dirt off her face. The door opened just as soon as she had dried off. "Dad!" She smiled running down stairs. "Hi Princess, how are you today?" He laughed picking his daughter up. "I'm great daddy. But Edmund isn't, his father's soldiers are going off to war and he has to go to. I need to help but we have to have dinner," stated Mora. "Well then, you'll have to join them a little late then won't you?" Asked her dad setting her down at the dinner table. "Oh Henry, don't encourage her," scolded Elizabeth. "What, she's just a kid. Let her have her fun," laughed Henry pulling his wife in for a kiss. "Well alright then, but if she stays trapped in this fantasy world of hers for her whole life it's your fault," huffed Elizabeth. "Don't worry Beth. She'll grow out of it, I certainly did."
