“There's one on its way now!”exclaimed Leafblaze “Unnnnnnnhhh”said Fogstar weakly, her eyes glazing with pain as a spazm relaxed. “I got one out! It’s an orange tabby she-kit!”cried Leafblaze.“Oh,and here’s another one! A bronze tom with dark brown spots!” “How many mooooore?” wailed Fogstar. “The pain--it’s too much!” “Almost done,Fogstar-- just three more.” Here's one,a blind she-kit,This one is white, and here’s the last one,it is a silver tabby she-kit!” “I will call the silver one Pebblekit, the bronze one Cougarkit,the white blind one Frostkit,and the orange one Tumblekit.”said Fogstar “Umm...Fogstar I really don’t know how to tell you this buuuut….umm…. Cougarkit is dead.” “NO!NOOO!THIS CAN'T BE TRUE! NO! STARCLAN--PLEASE!NO!NO!” her voice dropped. “No.” “I’m so sorry, but it is true Fogstar.”said Leafblaze mournfully. “Frostkit where are you?” Has she gone to the Medicine cat den again Pebblekit walked into the nursery and saw Frostkit sitting there staring at a pile of herbs. “Why are you looking at herbs?”Pebblekit asked “Look.”answered Frostkit as she licked her paw and touched a mouse. To Pebblekit’s surprise,The mouse turned into herbs!!! “Don't tell anyone”murmured Frostkit “Ok”said Pebblekit uneasily “Herbs,herbs,herbs”she had thought she heard Frostkit sing as Frostkit tried to find her way to Fogstar’s den so Pebblekit ran over to help her.They both walked inside the den to sleep.
